Covid 19 - A Contactless hand sanitiser gel dispenser is positioned inside the entrance door and common surfaces sanitised daily with sanitised wipes and spray and throughout the bedrooms/ensuites after checkout.
The three breakfast tables are positioned 2 meters apart to comply with Government social distancing guidelines.

We are in a quiet, picturesque location surrounded by the glorious West Sussex countryside with a spectacular view of Arundel Castle from our lane. Relax and unwind in our gardens with a cup of tea or glass of wine while the sun sets over the paddock. We also have table tennis, football goal and a trampoline that can all be used by guests.
The B and B is a quick 3-minute drive to Arundel town centre or a 15-minute walk along beautiful scenic footpaths. The quaint town of Arundel offers many excellent independent shops, restaurants and pubs with visitor attractions such as Arundel Castle, Arundel Cathedral, the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust and the annual Arundel Festival and Gallery Trail.

At Hanger Down bed and breakfast we make sure every visitor to the guesthouse has a peaceful and relaxing time. The B and B is lovingly looked after and well presented. The accommodation was completely renovated a few years ago and gives a traditional English feel while being modern and welcoming. Set within an acre of mature grounds the renovated guesthouse is situated in the gardens of a former Augustinian Priory with part of the original building dating back to 1760. We have a 4 Gold Star award for the service, breakfast and accommodation we offer. Our guesthouse is a great place to stay in Arundel with the West Sussex countryside on the doorstep of the bed and breakfast. If you’re here to visit Arundel the B and B is only a three-minute drive away from Arundel town centre. If you’d prefer to walk to Arundel from the guesthouse you can choose one of the many West Sussex footpaths that lead from the B and B to the town. This quiet 20-minute stroll will take you to the foot of Maltravers Street which leads up to Arundel Cathedral or Surrey Street that takes you past many independent shops and restaurants to Arundel Town Square.
Visit Arundel and you can visit many tourist attractions like Arundel Castle with its stately home and gardens and Arundel Cathedral that dates back to 1873. When you stay in Arundel there’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained; Arundel Wetland Centre is a nature reserve with wildlife hides and 50 species of wildfowl from around the world. Arundel Lido, the outdoor swimming pool, is open from late April until early September and the River Arun winds its way through Arundel with boat hire and rides available. During August Arundel hosts the Arundel Festival, a fabulous multi-arts festival with the Arundel Gallery Trail, open air plays, markets, food, tours of Arundel and more.
